ABOUT ME
Jessica Corredor Herrera, MS, LMHC
Hi! I’m Jessica, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida & founder of Abloom Counseling!
I’m not just a therapist — I’m also a mother, a wife, and someone who’s learning, growing, and figuring things out day by day. I understand what it’s like to juggle responsibilities, manage emotional burnout, and still try to show up for others. My personal experiences have deepened my empathy and shaped how I show up in the therapy room: connected, real, and without judgement. I believe healing work is most powerful when it honors the full context of who we are —not just our symptoms, but our stories.
Being diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood after a long journey of confusion, emotional burnout, and perfectionism. That turning point changed how I view healing - and how I show up for my clients.
I hold a special interest in helping others identify ADHD, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm early - so they can release the burden of not feeling “good enough” and begin writing a new story.
My Approach
One thing I often remind my clients is that healing isn’t linear —what matters most is the forward movement over time and the progress made within the bigger picture. I believe real change happens when you feel safe, seen, and supported in and outside the therapy room.
My approach blends evidenced-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Client-Centered care, all through trauma-informed and culturally sensitive lens. But more than that, I bring my full self into the work — compassion, honesty, and a belief that growth can happen even in the messiest seasons of life.
Clients often come to me when they:
Are navigating anxiety, burnout, stress, or big life transitions.
Feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves.
Want a space to make sense of their patterns, reclaim their worth, and build stronger relationships — with others and with themselves.
In my work with children and teens, I believe it is essential to include parents and families. I make it clear that therapy is just one piece of the puzzle. The real transformation happens in-between. When insights from our work are practiced at home, in relationships, and in daily choices. That’s why I take a collaborative, whole-person approach, especially when working children and teens.
In our sessions, you’ll find a light-hearted and balanced space where you can be curious about your patterns, explore what’s holding you back, and start moving toward the vision of you that feels most true. And of course — we’ll share a few laughs along the way, because growth doesn’t have to be so serious all the time.

The Meaning Behind “Abloom”
The lotus flower has always held a significant meaning to me. Representing new beginnings, rising through the mud to bloom. Abloom Counseling is rooted in that idea - that even in your most difficult seasons, you are still capable of blooming.
